Backend Engineering Leader

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Backend Engineering Leader to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, efficient, and reliable backend systems using Python and AWS technologies.

This leadership role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, mentoring junior developers, and staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend systems using Python and AWS technologies.
  • Develop high-quality, modular, and maintainable code that meets the required standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Mentor junior developers to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7-8 years of experience in Python programming, with expertise in API development using FastAPI and lambda.
  • Expertise in AWS resources like DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, API Gateway, and SQS.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Certification in AWS Associate/Professional Solution Architect is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
