\Are you a seasoned accounting professional seeking a new challenge? Do you have experience in overseeing financial operations and managing general ledger processes? If so, we invite you to explore this exciting opportunity as a Finance Manager.
\This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about finance and is looking to join a dynamic team. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing the overall accounting strategy and day-to-day finance operations of the organization.
\The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of income tax and GST provisions, with practical application to day-to-day transactions. They will also possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage confidently across teams and with leadership.
\Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, implement, and oversee the overall accounting strategy and day-to-day finance operations of the organization.\
- Manage core accounting functions including general ledger, payroll, utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, and variance analysis.\
- Handle reconciliations related to capital assets, trust accounts, check runs, fixed asset activity, and debt activity.\
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to generate timely and accurate financial statements and reports.\
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, policies, and procedures while maintaining a deep understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.\
- Drive timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures as per company expectations.\
- Assist the Controller/CFO with daily banking requirements, including accurate processing of positive pay transactions.\
- Collaborate with entire finance team and management to align with departmental and organizational goals.\
- Continuously assess and improve processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and use of resources within the department.\
- Train and advise team members on handling routine financial reporting and transactions.\
- Design and implement MIS reporting formats, deliver standalone and consolidated reports to management on a monthly basis.\
- Address queries from the Director of Finance / Controller and other stakeholders related to financial results or ad hoc reporting needs.\
- Supervise the general ledger team to ensure timely compliance with all financial reporting deadlines.\
- Support the development and implementation of new accounting procedures and departmental workflows.\
- Work on special projects and initiatives aimed at process improvement and system optimization.\
- Serve as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) for bookkeeping on Zoho and Tally platforms.\
