Finance Executive Job Description

The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day finance operations, ensure accounting compliance, and support month-end book closure. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily accounting operations including AR/AP.
  • Recording and reconciling journal entries and maintaining the general ledger.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and collections.
  • Handling GST/TDS compliance and related filings.
  • Assisting in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records in Zoho Books/Zoho Finance.
  • Supporting audits, statutory compliance, and internal financial reviews.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams for financial data accuracy and timely reporting.

About the Role

This role is responsible for managing the company's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.

Key Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
  • 1–3 years of experience in finance and accounting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation (GST/TDS), and compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) and Zoho Books/Finance.
  • Hands-on experience in journal entries, AR/AP, reconciliations, and book closure.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
