Software Tester Role

We are seeking a skilled software tester to join our team. As a software tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify defects and issues.
  • Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.
  • Identify, document, and report defects found during testing, working closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in software testing or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing using SOAPUI and Postman.
  • Strong understanding of JSON responses and data validation.
  • Automation testing using Postman, including assertions and verifications.
  • Proficient in functional testing, including requirement-based testing, scenario testing, test case creation, and UI testing.
  • Experience with user compatibility testing and responsive testing on Android and iOS devices.
  • Some knowledge of accessibility testing.
  • Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium and others.
  • Experience with Page Object Model (POM) and automating workflows.
  • 3 years of experience in automation testing.
  • 2 years of experience with JIRA, test case management, and defect management using Zephyr.
