Job Title

We are seeking an experienced quality assurance professional to join our team as a software tester. As a software tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software applications by executing functional and regression tests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review business requirements and technical documents to develop test plans and test cases.
  • Execute test cases manually for web-based and API applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Report defects and work closely with development teams for resolution.
  • Validate data and perform basic database testing using SQL.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test execution and defect tracking.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to quality assurance best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in manual and performance testing.
  • Experience in writing detailed and reusable test cases.
  • Familiarity with tools like Postman for API testing.
  • Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Exposure to agile development practices is a plus.
