Job Overview

The role of Automotive Embedded Hardware Director is responsible for the technical delivery of automotive electronics hardware solutions to global vehicle OEMs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Led electrical hardware design projects on independent tasks to meet customer requirements.
  • Conducted thorough reviews of customer specifications and ensured compliance.
  • Designed and developed automotive products using microprocessors, SOCs, high-speed memory, LVDS, FPD Link-III circuitry, and high-speed designs for automotive applications.
  • Developed and maintained microprocessor and DSP digital core, audio, camera, and video signals, analog, and digital control logic, linear, and switching power supplies for automotive applications.
  • Performed worst-case analysis and simulations to ensure customer requirements were met.
  • Supported product design reviews and created maintenance schematic and assembly drawings within the change management structure.
  • Developed and maintained electrical DFMEA and generated electrical information for ECAD PCB layout support.
  • Supported hardware prototype build, product verification plan, testing, EMC, and validation testing.
  • Maintained lab equipment experience with power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, and multi-meters.
