Home Automation Sales Representative Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Home Automation Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase repeat business and referrals
  • Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities within existing customer accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical support, installation, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery and support to customers
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings to effectively position our products and differentiate from competitors

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of frontline sales experience in related industries
  • An excellent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers to drive sales and foster long-term relationships
  • Results-oriented with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in using CRM software for sales tracking and reporting
