Risk Management Professional

Key Responsibilities:

  • Credit Risk Modelling: Develop and implement credit risk models to assess the likelihood of default in rural and semi-urban lending contexts.
  • Credit Risk Strategies: Implement and monitor credit risk strategies across the lending lifecycle, including acquisition, underwriting, cross-sell, and collections.
  • Portfolio Review: Regularly review portfolios using various risk metrics to identify early warning signs and analyze trends to track portfolio quality against accepted risk parameters.
  • Risk Policy Updates: Ensure risk policies are reviewed and updated regularly to reflect the dynamic external environment and internal risk appetite.
  • Industry Analysis: Analyze industry data and prepare management information dashboards to apprise senior management of changing market conditions.
  • Process Review: Conduct regular process reviews to ensure adherence to risk policies and verify that controls are effective and functioning as intended.
  • Risk Framework Strengthening: Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen the risk framework.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top-tier institution.
  • Experience: 3-6 years of experience in managing risk in non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), fintech, or lending.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL is mandatory; excellent understanding of data and ability to derive insights; sound knowledge of statistical models.
  • Added Advantage: Experience in microfinance or MSME lending is beneficial.
