Senior IT Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned IT Operations expert to lead our Fixed Network applications 247365. This role requires a strong track record of managing legacy and cloud-based applications, ensuring stability, performance, and SLA adherence.
Key Responsibilities- Drive transformation initiatives like migrations, automation, and Ops readiness
- Manage risk, compliance, and audit preparedness across AO-managed platforms
- Build team capabilities through upskilling, certifications, and ownership transitions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent AO in strategic forums
- Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive monitoring and continuous service improvement
This position demands expertise in major incidents management calls, providing resolutions and root cause analysis, as well as knowledge of Fixednet Stack Architecture. The ideal candidate will be AWS certified Solution Architect and ITIL certified.
Required Skills- Technical and functional knowledge of Vodafone Germany fixednet architecture supported applications and flows
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Unix Shell Scripting, Python, Java Scripting, PL/SQL, Power Shell
- Bachelor of Engineering degree and 15+ experience in IT Operations, Support
- Telecom BSS Background is mandatory
