Senior Frontend Developer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced frontend developer to join our team. This is an opportunity to work on world-class software that will operate in all facets of A&M Tax, from internal tools that improve efficiency to client-facing enterprise systems that compete at the world level.

The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including documentation, development, testing, debugging, and support. They will lead the design and development of robust, high-performance web applications using Next.js and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build intuitive and responsive user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of scalable front-end architecture with a focus on performance and maintainability.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for front-end deployment using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.
  • Deploy and manage applications in Azure Cloud, leveraging services such as App Services, Blob Storage, and Azure CDN.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure smooth data flow between front-end and back-end systems.
  • Maintain code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices in software development.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve development workflows and performance.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
  • 4–7 years of hands-on experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React.js and Next.js.
  • Proven experience deploying and maintaining applications in Azure Cloud environments.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
  • Proficient in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end architecture.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
  • Experience integrating with REST APIs and handling asynchronous data workflows.
  • Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and web security best practices.
  • Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver high-quality features under tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
