Job Summary

As a Senior Business Intelligence Developer at PepsiCo, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining advanced reporting, analytics, and dashboards using Power BI. You will perform data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design, accessing multiple sources, including Power BI and Azure Synapse. Your goal will be to ensure accuracy and consistency of reports generated from Power BI and other reporting tools as per business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain advanced reporting, analytics, and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Perform data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design, accessing multiple sources.
  • Conduct QA/QC on reports generated from Power BI and other reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboard requirements.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist, with a focus on Power BI platform.
  • Background in data warehouse design (dimensional modeling) and data mining.
  • Understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
  • Knowledge of SQL queries.
  • Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
  • Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
  • Working knowledge of agile development, including DevOps and DataOps concepts.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in Power BI or other BI tools.
  • Experience in a QA/QC role, preferably in a reporting or data analysis context.
