We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant (CA) to fill the role of Senior Tax Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial processes and be able to identify and address tax-related matters effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, assessments, and litigation on behalf of the organization.
  • Represent the company in tax authorities and manage various audit issues that arise.
  • Handle advance tax payments, tax returns, reports, and necessary documentation with precision.
  • E nsure complete tax compliance, particularly for direct and indirect taxes with a focus on Goods and Services Tax (GST).
  • Perform GST Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation and reverse non-eligible ITC to maintain accuracy.
  • Coordinate with tax counsel to obtain professional opinions and advice.
  • Prepare facts and cases for expert opinions on complex tax matters.
  • Provide support to both internal and external stakeholders on tax-related queries.
  • Conduct regular reviews of financial matters from a tax perspective to ensure compliance and optimisation.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
  • 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax management.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial processes and tax regulations.
  • A high degree of attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with clients and stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Experience in managing tax compliance, assessments, and litigation to drive business growth.
