Key Mechanical Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team, where you will be responsible for designing key mechanical systems of power transformers.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will work on developing and managing 3D models using CAD software, such as CREO, Inventor, UG, and PDM tools, like Teamcenter and Windchill.

  • Design transformer tanks, stiffeners, covers, and external parts, including coolers, conservators, pipework, turrets, and conduit systems.
  • Develop and manage 3D models, applying relevant international design standards.
  • Create and review customer documentation, including general arrangement drawings, foundation plans, and valve plates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant engineering degrees with experience.
  • 3 to 10 years of experience in mechanical design or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in 3D CAD tools, CREO ProE Inventor UG, and 2D CAD, AutoCAD; Experience using PDM systems, e.g., PDM Link, Teamcenter; Familiarity with FEA tools, such as ANSYS or Pro Mechanical.
  • Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results within deadlines; Proactive and detail-oriented approach to engineering work.
