Job Overview

Our company seeks an experienced mechanical design engineer to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in modeling and drawing using 3D software tools, as well as PDM Link/Teamcenter and 2D CAD (e.g., AUTOCAD).
  • They should also have knowledge of calculations and designing transformer tanks, stiffeners, covers, and external components like coolers, conservators, pipe work, turrets, and external cabling.
  • Additionally, the candidate should be able to prepare customer documentation such as general arrangement, foundation, valve plate, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing transformer tanks and externals
  • Preparing customer documentation
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • A graduate or diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in designing transformer tanks and externals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Self-motivation to produce high-quality results within the time allocated
Preferred Skills

It would be beneficial if the candidate has experience with SAP and proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Adobe Acrobat.
