Design Engineer for Power Transformers

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of large power transformers and shunt reactors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in design, development, and analysis of transformer internal connections. They will be responsible for creating detailed designs, conducting simulations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

About the Role:
  • Develop and maintain detailed designs for transformer internal connections, including leads design, tank layout, electrical clearances, magnetic distances, and routing of leads.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the design process.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and optimize design solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
