Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience working with SCADA/DMS/OMS/EMS systems.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate technical specifications and prepare proposals for real-time applications.
  • Formulate pre-bid queries and responses, as well as design solutions according to customer requirements.
  • Prepare hardware and software bill of quantities for cost estimation.
  • Compute engineering efforts, including modeling of networks and factory acceptance tests.
  • Interact with headquarters for internal process approvals and project enhancements.
  • Presentations and demos to customers.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in SCADA/DMS/OMS/EMS for utilities and industries.
  • Skill Sets/Knowledge/Competencies:
  • Understanding of transmission and distribution electrical networks.
  • Domain expertise in parameterization, proper functioning, and troubleshooting of SCADA, DMS, EMS, and forecasting applications.
  • Creativity of data models and specifications for extensions, discussing these models with customers and consultants.
  • Initial experience in implementation of solution projects and mathematical simulation, optimization, and evaluation of energy distribution systems.
  • Knowledge of IT hardware like servers, firewalls, routers, switches, etc.
  • Demonstratable ability to communicate highly technical information clearly and concisely to peers and customers verbally and in written communications.
  • Strong customer service and building positive relationships skills with prior direct customer experience.
  • Extremely partner-focused, proactive, and effective within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of international standards for automation and cybersecurity.
