About The Role

This on-site interior design role is ideal for a hands-on professional who combines strong client-facing skills with technical drawing and execution experience.

Job Description
  • Lead client consultations to capture brief, functional requirements, budget, and design intent; translate into concepts and presentation materials (moodboards, schematic plans).
  • Produce and deliver accurate technical drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed joinery) using AutoCAD and collaborate on 3D renderings for client approvals.
  • Develop BOQs, cost estimates, and material/FF&E specifications; coordinate with procurement and suppliers to source finishes and fixtures within budget.
  • Manage on-site implementation: supervise contractors, monitor quality, track progress against schedules, and ensure health & safety and compliance on site.
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams (project managers, architects, MEP, and vendors) to resolve design-to-build challenges and deliver projects on time.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation (RFI, site instructions, snag lists) and handover packages to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma/degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent with 3+ years of on-site interior design & execution experience.
  • Proven proficiency in AutoCAD and strong working knowledge of space planning and technical detailing.
  • Hands-on site supervision experience, vendor management, BOQ preparation, and basic cost estimation.
  • Good client-facing and communication skills; able to present design rationale and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Familiarity with materials, finishes, joinery, FF&E, and quality control processes.
