Senior Technical Designer Position

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Designer to join our studio in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design and technical documentation, with the ability to lead projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the technical design of projects, including programming client needs, concept, design development, space planning, and construction documentation.
  • Develop and coordinate design solutions, including leading the story board through visioning, planning, and material selection.
  • Direct the production of drawings, specifications, and contribute to the maintenance and oversight of the project manual and specifications.
  • Manage multiple aspects of team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, and civil consultants.
  • Support the management of client and team expectations and communication.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Architecture or Interior Design preferred.
  • 15+ years of related architecture and design experience, including a demonstrable ability to deliver projects from start to completion.
  • Proven background in high-end hospitality and residential projects, base building, and interior design experience is necessary.
  • Experience interpreting building code requirements in designs, coordination with consultants, and clear client communication during construction administration.
  • Deep knowledge of interior design detailing and materials, as well as materials implication.
  • Understanding of design stages and deliverables and level of detailing for each stage.
  • Highly proficient in design modeling/visualization tools, including Revit, Rhino, Enscape, and Excel.
