Job Title: Material Controller

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock Management: Maintain accurate records of all stock in and out transactions, monitor stock levels, and ensure materials are stored systematically.
  • Material Handling: Oversee receiving and inspection of incoming materials, conduct quality checks, handle rejected returned materials, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Issuance: Ensure timely issuance of materials as per requisitions, record and manage material returns from departments/sites.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports, provide management with analytical reports on consumption patterns, slow-moving items, shortages, and forecast requirements.
  • Compliance: Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and safe storage of materials, follow company policies, safety norms, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Inventory software, ERP (preferred).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's Degree, Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in inventory or stock control, experience in construction landscaping materials industry (preferred).
