CTRM Consultant Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CTRM professional to join our organization.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimization of CTRM systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Gather business requirements from trading, risk, operations, and finance teams and map them to CTRM system functionalities.
  • Manage the full trade lifecycle: trade capture, validation, confirmation, logistics/scheduling, risk exposure calculation, settlement, invoicing, and reporting.
  • Support key risk management activities including mark-to-market valuations, daily P&L reporting and reconciliation, market and credit risk exposure analysis, hedge effectiveness tracking, and configure CTRM systems to meet commodity-specific requirements.
  • Ensure accurate integration of market data feeds for pricing and risk analytics.
  • Collaborate on logistics and scheduling modules, assist with settlement processes, and work closely with IT teams to implement system enhancements and interface integrations.
  • Conduct system testing and document results, ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting standards, and provide end-user training and production support.

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience with CTRM systems, a strong understanding of commodity trading processes and risk management principles, and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
