Product Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Product Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative power solutions that meet customer requirements.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with our design, systems, and back-end teams to ensure products are designed for manufacturability and reliability. You will typically work on a product family or category and ensure that devices meet specifications and quality targets as defined in our data sheets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Development work on a broad range of Power devices (Buck converter multiphase controller, power stages, power sequencers, etc.)
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams in all aspects of new product development, production release, and goal accomplishment
  • Design and qualification of boards for Power products
  • Evaluation, debug, and characterization of integrated circuits to ensure they meet product requirement specifications and manufacturing requirements
  • Root cause analysis of reliability and qualification failures with failure analysis
  • Development and qualification of new technologies for product development with process and package technology development
  • Addressing customer-specific product quality, yield management, and cost reductions issues on mature products with global manufacturing facilities
  • Ensuring smooth device ramp post-release to manufacturing with the planning team
  • Qualification of second source wafer fab, assembly/test facility, and Bill of Materials to ensure device continuity of supply
  • Test conversion, test time reduction, and yield improvements to achieve device entitlement operational

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of power electronics and control systems
  • Experience with product development lifecycle from conceptualization to production
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop effective solutions
