Job Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our power solutions by evaluating system-level functionality.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Evaluating system-level performance of power solutions to ensure compliance with customer and market requirements.
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, test, systems, and application engineers, to optimize power solutions technically and cost-wise.
  3. Developing validation boards, schematics, and layouts that match customer use cases and applications.
  4. Building, designing, and documenting full validation plans, defining validation strategies, and implementing test cases on various scripting languages.
  5. Working with design and firmware teams to support customer needs, debug device and setup-related issues, and drive issues to closure independently.
  6. Engaging with customers to understand their issues and providing modifications if needed.

The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a meticulous approach to ensure high-quality results.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in validation engineering of analog products.
  • Demonstrated hardware debugging skills.
  • Excellent time management; Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor power switches like MOSFET, IGBT, and SiC MOSFET.
  • Expertise in tools e.g. Simplis, Matlab, Altium, PSPICE, LabView, Python.
  • Schematic and PCB layout design in Altium.
  • Physical layout management, signal grounding and routing tradeoffs, optimization.
