Job Title: HR Director

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic HR professional to lead and manage the full spectrum of Human Resource functions within an organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in recruitment, payroll, attendance management, HR operations, and compliance, with proven expertise in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives.

This position requires a seasoned HR expert with at least 10 years of experience, preferably within the region, and a solid understanding of statutory compliances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Manage payroll administration and attendance management to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies, job descriptions (JDs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and employee handbooks in line with organizational objectives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement through effective performance appraisal systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including labor laws and employee welfare regulations.
  • Act as a strategic partner to management, providing insights on organizational design, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
  • Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Drive HR initiatives related to training, learning & development, employee engagement, and succession planning.
  • Maintain and enhance HR systems, databases, and reporting structures for improved efficiency and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with overall business goals.

Requirements:

  • Possess an MBA or Master's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Have minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Prior HR experience in the region is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliances.
  • Expertise in recruitment, payroll, attendance management, and HR operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop HR policies, procedures, SOPs, and performance appraisal frameworks.
  • Proficiency in HRMS tools and MS Office Suite.
