Job Opportunity: Portfolio Monitoring Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Portfolio Monitoring Specialist.

The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing investment portfolios, identifying key performance indicators, and providing regular reports to stakeholders.

  • Perform financial modeling and analysis using Excel-based models or lending platforms.
  • Identify and calculate key credit metrics, including covenant performance verification and compliance checking against thresholds.
  • Conduct regular reviews and populate associated templates, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Prepare business overviews, SWOT analyses, and financial analyses, including historical and forecast data, operating, leverage, and liquidity ratios.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to identify areas of improvement and develop strategic plans to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on financial analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, management, and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in finance, economics, or accounting from a reputable institution.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the private equity or banking industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial modeling tools is an advantage.
