Commercial Real Estate Asset Manager Job Description

Our organization is seeking a skilled Commercial Real Estate Asset Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our real estate portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring property maintenance activities, capital expenditures, and improvement projects to enhance property value and tenant experience.

This role also involves managing third-party vendor payments and on-time mortgage payments, maintaining and managing insurance coverage, and handling insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the real estate portfolio
  • Coordinate and monitor property maintenance activities, capital expenditures, and improvement projects
  • Manage third-party vendor payments and on-time mortgage payments
  • Maintain and manage insurance coverage and handle insurance claims

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years professional experience in property management
  • Advanced experience reading and interpreting leases and related documents as well as financial information contained in accounting software, spreadsheets, financial statements, etc.
  • Expert-level proficiency working with Yardi and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
