About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Community Engagement Specialist to join our team. This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication and project management skills, with a focus on student-centric environments.

The successful candidate will work closely with students, faculty, and staff to develop and implement engaging programs and events that foster a sense of community and promote student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement programs that meet the diverse needs and interests of students, including cultural events, workshops, and seminars.
  • Event Planning: Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual equipment rental.
  • Student Support: Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and personal pursuits, including mentorship and referral services.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain relationships with students, faculty, and staff through regular communication, including email, phone calls, and in-person meetings.
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from start to finish, including budgeting, timelines, and resource allocation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred: communications, education, or social sciences).
  • 1–2 years of experience in program coordination, event planning, or student affairs.
  • Prior involvement in college clubs, fests, or student leadership is a strong advantage.
  • Comfort with digital tools: Google Workspace, Sheets, Slack, Notion, and willingness to learn.
