Job Description

This role supports and collaborates with the Mumbai & Gurgaon team to develop and prepare MICE proposals that meet operating standards.

  • Maintain existing client relationships through various sales activities, including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, site inspections, and entertainment events, in conjunction with the Accounts Manager.
  • Receive and respond to RFPs/queries, using MICE proposal templates, and deliver to clients in a timely manner. Follow directions from the Regional Team regarding brief details and client requirements.
  • Meet annual sales, profit, and conversion targets, in addition to business lead goals.
  • Share contacts of known clients who can be potential clients for our company.
Key Responsibilities

Sales Support:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and prospects through proactive sales engagement and strategic planning.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions and meet customer needs.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
Research, Development, and Benchmarking

Develop and implement research initiatives to identify new and existing products that can be adapted for the MICE market.

  1. Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and develop new product offerings that meet customer needs and expectations.
  3. Work closely with suppliers and partners to build preferred lists of hotels, venues, DMCs, and other relevant stakeholders.
System Management

Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems and processes to support business operations.

  1. Develop and maintain accurate records and databases to track client interactions, sales performance, and market trends.
  2. Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement technology solutions that meet business needs.
Event Logistics

Coordinate and execute logistical aspects of events to ensure smooth execution and high-quality customer experiences.

  1. Work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of event materials and services.
  2. Monitor event performance metrics and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

3. Proficiency in Microsoft software applications and ability to adapt to new technologies.

4. Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

5. Minimum 10-12 years' experience in MICE industry, with a proven track record of success.
