Job Title: Ignition SCADA Specialist

Lead the design configuration and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations.

  • Architect and implement real-time data acquisition visualization and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of OT systems (PLC, SCADA, MES) with enterprise IT systems (ERP, databases, cloud).
  • Develop and maintain secure, efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols.
  • Manage industrial databases (SQL, historian, time-series databases) for high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs.
  • Provide technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives (Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, predictive analytics).
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing SCADA/MES deployments to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across the engineering team.

Required Skills:

  • Proven expertise with Ignition SCADA, Inductive Automation, including scripting module configuration and project deployment.
  • Experience with PLC, SCADA, and MES systems.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and visualization principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
