Job Opportunity:

We seek a skilled Telecom IT Operations Specialist to perform routine system health checks, conduct first-level analysis on faults incidents reported, and provide regular reporting and escalation of recurring or critical issues.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field. They will also have working knowledge of TeMIP, Open NMS for fault and event management, and Linux command-line proficiency.

Key responsibilities include analyzing fault incidents, conducting problem-solving tasks, and collaborating with the support team to resolve complex technical issues.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, utilizing excellent communication skills to document and report progress.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong understanding of telecom OSS and alarm flow from EMS to NMS
  • Hands-on experience with TeMIP low-level filters such as Corrective Filter, Tap Filter, Transient Filter, Threshold Filter, Heap Filter, and Toggling Filter
  • Familiarity with Alarm Beautifier for enhancing alarm readability
  • Direct NMS EMS integration, TCP CC TELNET, TCP CC2 OPEN CC creation, net-snmp related configuration, and custom solution development based upon Ops requirement
