Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure using Microsoft Azure cloud services.

About the Role:

  • Create and maintain high-quality, scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake Storage, and Azure Blob Storage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements, design, develop, and implement data solutions that support advanced analytics and business decision-making.
  • Design, develop, and implement automated data workflows and pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory or similar tools.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve existing data workflows and infrastructure.
  • Stay updated with emerging Azure data technologies, tools, best practices, and industry standards.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, especially Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage.
  • Proven SQL skills with experience in relational and non-relational database management.
  • Programming proficiency in Python, Spark, or Scala for data processing tasks.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with data governance, security, privacy protocols, and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices relevant to data engineering.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as HDInsight, Databricks, or Hadoop.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics tools is advantageous.
  • Adaptability to emerging technologies and changing project requirements.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
