Job Title: Workday Payroll Specialist

Location: Multiple Locations in India

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Payroll specialist to join our team. As a key member of our payroll operations, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality payroll processing services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage Workday payroll settings, including withholding orders, taxes, and arrears
  • Develop and implement payroll processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide support and guidance to clients on payroll-related matters
  • Analyze and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business process improvements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of payroll services

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. A minimum of 4 years of relevant Workday HCM experience
  2. Active Workday Core HCM and Payroll certification
  3. Hands-on experience in configuring withholding orders, taxes, validations, and arrears
  4. Subject matter expertise in payroll processing framework, banking, and settlement
  5. Expertise in payroll input and audit, off-cycle and on-cycle payments
  6. Functional experience in multiple HR processes, including time tracking, talent, recruiting, compensation, absence, and benefits
  7. Ability to work with clients and drive design sessions for various HCM/payroll areas
  8. Knowledge of HR programs and policies, as well as commitment to HR principles of confidentiality
  9. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
