Web Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of web development principles, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, maintaining and updating existing websites, optimizing website performance and security, and collaborating with designers and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in web development
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL
  • Experience with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg
  • Good understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Knowledge of website performance optimization and security best practices
  • Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with WooCommerce or other WordPress-based eCommerce platforms
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and AJAX
  • Understanding of web hosting, cPanel, and DNS configuration
  • Experience with website migration and backups
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
