We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Marine Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design and management of complex port projects. With over 10 years of experience in structural engineering, this individual will oversee the development of key structural components, including breakwaters, jetties, quays, docks, and seawalls.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with expertise in budgeting, scheduling, and team leadership. Proficiency in structural engineering software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, and other tools for design and analysis is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Structural Engineering for Port Projects: Develop and implement innovative solutions for the design, analysis, and execution of key structural components.
  • Project Management Consultancy (PMC): Provide technical guidance and oversight for the execution of port infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, project timelines, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with contractors, consultants, government agencies, and other engineers to ensure seamless coordination and integration of structural designs into the overall project.
  • Risk & Safety Management: Oversee the risk mitigation strategies and safety measures, ensuring that all structural designs and construction work comply with regulatory guidelines and safety standards.
  • Site Supervision & Quality Assurance: Supervise construction activities on-site, providing technical guidance, resolving issues, and ensuring high-quality standards for structural integrity and sustainability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Post Graduate degree in Structural Engineering, specializing in marine structures or coastal engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on marine and port infrastructure, including significant PMC experience.
  • Proficiency in structural engineering software and excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of marine structures, including their response to wave forces, tide variations, sediment movement, and marine environmental conditions.
