Senior Observability Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned engineer to play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable monitoring platforms across diverse cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop robust synthetic monitoring solutions for hybrid and multi-cloud setups.
  • Promote the adoption of APM tooling, including Dynatrace, and standardize instrumentation and deployment models.
  • Create onboarding strategies for various telemetry sources, focusing on synthetic monitoring best practices.
  • Integrate observability tools to deliver unified insights and optimize monitoring capabilities.
  • Assess emerging technologies and develop custom synthetic monitoring solutions where necessary.
  • Contribute to open-source or internal standards for synthetic monitoring.
  • Drive knowledge sharing and documentation efforts to strengthen monitoring practices across teams.
  • Collaborate with application teams to integrate synthetic monitoring into new service architectures.
  • Partner with security teams on compliance, threat detection, and governance related to monitoring.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda), strong expertise in Synthetic Monitoring and Dynatrace, and excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Requirements:
  • 5–7 years of experience with Dynatrace and Synthetic Monitoring.
  • Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with other monitoring/observability tools is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
