AV/ADAS Test Engineer Role Overview

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in testing and validating Autonomous Vehicle (AV) and Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) functions. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and safety of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Development: Create and execute comprehensive test plans for AV/ADAS functions, including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping (LK), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Automated Parking Assist (APA), and more.
  • Algorithm Validation: Validate perception, planning, and control algorithms in simulated and real-world environments to guarantee system reliability.
  • Testing and Analysis: Analyze test data to identify issues and ensure system reliability. Document test results and raise bugs using JIRA.
  • Collaboration: Work with sensor technologies, including RADAR, LIDAR, and Cameras, to develop simulations for closed-loop testing involving perception, localization, and planning modules.
  • Standards Compliance: Apply knowledge of automotive standards like ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
