About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance database systems.

  • Design and implement distributed databases using various technologies such as in-memory computing, caching, and data grids.
  • Perform architecture reviews, performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system operation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and deploy database systems seamlessly.
Key Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of database architectures and their application in real-world scenarios.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Go, C++, Python).
  • Experience with cloud-based database solutions and their deployment.
  • Prior experience in delivering mission-critical, high-availability systems in industries such as finance, telecom, or eCommerce.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and technical support experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and implementing database backup and recovery strategies.
  • Ensuring database security through encryption, access controls, and auditing.
  • Monitoring database performance and making adjustments as needed.
