Job Overview

We seek an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to support our international trade execution teams. This role requires a seasoned professional who excels in fast-paced environments and prioritizes precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on financial, administrative, and logistical tasks.
  • Prepare and review documentation for Letters of Credit (LC), including bank schedules, commercial invoices, and contractual paperwork.
  • Issue import LCs to suppliers and review incoming LCs, requesting amendments when necessary.
  • Manage invoicing for paper and physical trades, including proforma invoices.
  • Maintain Statements of Accounts and assist with month-end closing activities.
  • Follow up on payables, receivables, and accruals.
  • Update systems with stock movements and ensure accurate matching.
  • Handle Know Your Customer (KYC) and sanction clearance processes.
  • Project LC and cash flow requirements.
  • Prepare stock reports and coordinate Delivery Orders (D/O).
  • Compile traceability reports and manage cargo insurance and charterers liability declarations.
  • Process LOI cancellations.
  • Respond to accounting, audit, and compliance-related queries.
