**Job Overview:**

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at a leading dental organization.

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure. This includes analyzing, architecting, and configuring enterprise networks and equipment.

  • Maintaining personal knowledge of network vendor technologies and associated software is essential for this role.
  • Engaging in technical administration of Cisco network equipment, including routers, switches, access points, and controllers, is also required.
  • You will configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network equipment, resolving complex issues involving various technologies.
  • Additionally, you will assist other teams with installing and configuring Cisco Voice Gateways, Integrated Services Routers (ISRs), Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) routers, analog gateways, and other infrastructure equipment.
  • Working with carriers and configuring/troubleshooting Internet, MPLS, SD-WAN, and other WAN circuits and equipment is also an essential part of this role.
  • As a mentor to junior network engineers, you will ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensuring compliance standards, including PCI and HIPAA, is also a critical aspect of this position.
  • Providing on-call support to bring production systems to operational states, overseeing diagnosis and troubleshooting activities, and resolving technical problems are all key responsibilities.
  • Performing system administration functions, configuration management using Ansible, Solarwinds, and other tools, as well as expanding, relocating, and consolidating voice infrastructure for all corporate locations, are also essential tasks.
  • Developing and maintaining network documentation and participating in Agile/Scrum processes for the IT systems team are also critical aspects of this role.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study is required.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience with Cisco routers/switches/routing protocols and other network equipment is essential.
  • Experience implementing Cisco ISE and using Cisco DNA Center is also required.
  • Experience with SD-WAN and SDN is preferred, as well as experience or knowledge of networking in a VMware and/or Docker and/or AWS environment.
  • Experience or knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Network as Code (NaC) is also preferred, as well as experience or knowledge of Python and Ansible.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional certification is required, and Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert certification is preferred.
