Long-form Video Scriptwriter Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Long-form Video Scriptwriter to develop compelling scripts for long-form video content. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting engaging storytelling arcs that captivate audiences and convey client objectives effectively.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Research, ideate, and write scripts for long-form video content (5–30 minutes). Develop strong narrative structures that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Understand client communication goals and tailor scripts accordingly. Conduct research when needed to ensure authenticity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with directors, editors, and designers to align scripts with visual and audio elements. Adapt writing styles for different platforms (YouTube, branded films, corporate communications).
  • Revise and edit scripts based on feedback from clients and internal teams. Ensure seamless integration with project timelines.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in scriptwriting, particularly for long-form video content.
  • Strong storytelling, research, and writing skills. Ability to simplify complex information into engaging narratives.
  • Familiarity with YouTube content trends and digital storytelling formats.
  • Excellent command over written English and creative thinking.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects effectively.
