Senior Financial Specialist

About the Role:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for assisting business partners and colleagues in processing financial activities that require technical accounting knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply advanced GAAP concepts and financial controls to design and execute activities within the respective area.
  • Work with fixed assets, including asset creation, retirement, depreciation, and project costing.
  • Reconcile and report financial data, utilizing expertise in Excel.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide required data and information.
  • Design and oversee testing around financial controls for SOX compliance.
  • Participate in broader projects, working with and directing teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced understanding of GAAP concepts and financial controls.
  • Expertise in Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
