Telecom Assistant Manager Job Description

The Telecom Assistant Manager is a pivotal role in the organization, responsible for spearheading customer interactions and driving business success through strategic operations and technology leverage.

This position requires a seasoned professional with technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and effective communication to succeed. The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Collaborating with senior management to develop and execute strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  2. Establishing implementation plans and metrics-driven processes to ensure quality of delivery and uptime of IT infrastructure.
  3. Negotiating with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure and manage infrastructure-related products and services.
  4. Developing disaster recovery plans and conducting testing to detect faults.
  5. Engaging with clients to understand their business objectives and translating them into technical requirements.
  6. Designing, engineering, and operating Global Supper of Contact Center Technology built on heterogeneous platforms including Cloud Contact Center solutions like Nice InContact, Genesis, Amazon Connect, and Audio Codes.
  7. Working closely with business units, IT departments, and external vendors to align telephony solutions with organizational goals.
  8. Providing subject matter expertise and guidance on best practices for routing & workflow optimization, system implementation & integration, and leading the response to telephony-related incidents.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years' overall experience in telecom domain.
  • Good to have Contact Center domain experience.
  • Project / Implementation experience is must.
  • Good exp in team management.
  • Certifications in contact center management or NICE CXone platforms are advantageous.
