Lead Estimator - Project Cost Management

The role of Lead Estimator – Project Cost Management involves overseeing the estimation process for all interior fit-out projects, ensuring that costs are accurately computed and managed throughout the project lifecycle. This position is pivotal in providing timely and budgetary guidance to stakeholders, justifying bill/variation claims, and developing and maintaining item masters with accurate rate analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate preparation and cost advice for all projects during design development stage.
  • Analyze and justify variance in bills versus estimate or contract scope.
  • Maintain accurate item masters for all materials, BOQ items, and fit-out services with detailed rate analysis.
  • Negotiate with vendors and contractors to optimize project costs.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 14+ years' experience in quantity surveying and estimation for commercial fit-out/interior projects.
  • Proficient with estimation, QS, and tendering software.
Key Skills:
  • Advanced quantity take-off and estimation.
  • Rate analysis and item master management.

  • Vendor negotiation and commercial evaluation.
