Project Manager Role

Bengaluru, Karnataka - This is a project coordination and management role.

The ideal candidate will set clear objectives, define targets, and deliver results within set timelines while ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage software/application development projects in an agile environment with hands-on experience in software development and a proven track record of delivering projects successfully.
  • Define project scope and objectives ensuring alignment of business goals with technical requirements.
  • Assess the resources needed for software development ensuring their optimal utilization.
  • Estimate the effort required to complete the project and guide teams technically in overcoming obstacles or roadblocks.
  • Ensure risks are managed effectively and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Utilize project management tools like MS Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, Asana, and others to track progress, assign tasks, and ensure project goals are met.
  • Manage contracts, assign tasks, and ensure vendors and suppliers meet expected deliverables.
  • Apply industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle to ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
  • Measure project performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Domain expertise includes computer science, business, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of project management and related experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Agile certification is preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
