Electrical Design Engineer Role

This role is focused on delivering high-quality electrical design solutions for complex building services MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems, including electrical distribution panels, lighting, cable management systems, outdoor and indoor lighting, lux level calculations, load estimation, voltage drop, and short circuit calculations.
  • Be well-versed in ELV systems, including fire alarm, PAVA, CCTV, and SCS.
  • Have hands-on experience with software tools like Dialux and Amtech.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of NEC, CPWD international codes and practices.
  • Conduct effective estimations for RFPs.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate technical and management requirements.
  • Maintain excellent communication and coordination skills in multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Mentor and guide Mechanical engineering staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering from a recognized university with a minimum of 4-15 years of experience in consultant design.
  • Master's degree holders are given preference.
  • Effective team management skills to lead project teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with international clients and contractors.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT-MEP, and Navisworks is an added advantage.
