Leading Finance Department at a Resort
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead our finance department at a resort in Pondicherry and Madikeri. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in hotel finance operations and be proficient in financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts, credit, and overall finance operations to ensure timely statutory and legal compliance.
- Manage budgets, fund allocations, and cost control to drive performance and efficiency.
- Generate and monitor cash flow, MIS, P&L, and balance sheet reports to inform business decisions.
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions to facilitate transactions and negotiations.
- Train and evaluate finance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct departmental meetings and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve processes.
- Prepare annual budgets and monitor contractor services to ensure value for money.
What We're Looking For:
- 6-8 years of hotel/resort finance experience with a strong background in financial reporting and compliance.
- Excellent leadership and analytical skills to drive performance and efficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to analyze data and create reports.
