As a Senior Expert in Observability, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable, reliable, and high-performance observability solutions for our organization. This role requires strong technical expertise in OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and AWS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop custom collectors, exporters, and automation tools using Python.
  • Implement dashboards and visualizations in Grafana and optimize logging in Splunk.
  • Manage event streaming pipelines with Kafka and deploy and monitor observability components in Kubernetes.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, and Argo CD.
  • Drive DevOps maturity assessments, adoption strategies, and stakeholder engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, AWS, Splunk, Ansible, Terraform.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Shell, Groovy, YAML.
  • Knowledge of databases (Postgres, MySQL, InfluxDB, Prometheus, RDS, NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with storage systems (NetApp, VMAX, Pure, PMAX).
  • Strong exposure to monitoring tools – Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog, ELK, etc.
  • Agile/Scrum/SAFe environment experience.
