Lead Penetration Tester

This is a remote-first role with minimal travel. As a senior cybersecurity professional, you'll collaborate with security experts and IT teams to identify vulnerabilities, simulate real-world attacks, and guide remediation efforts.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute comprehensive penetration testing engagements across web, mobile, APIs, cloud, and network environments.
  • Develop tailored penetration test plans and reporting workflows.
  • Synthesize manual and automated techniques to uncover security flaws and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Publish detailed vulnerability reports with practical guidance for remediation.
  • Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and security teams to address discovered vulnerabilities.
  • Analyze threat models and risk assessments on new systems and architectures.
  • Mentor junior cybersecurity professionals.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience in penetration testing and ethical hacking, strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST standards, and CVSS scoring, proficiency in tools like Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus, Wireshark, and Kali Linux, and solid understanding of application security, network protocols, authentication mechanisms, and secure coding principles.
