The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Unreal Game Developer to lead the development of gameplay and mechanics for our project.

This senior role involves defining the technical vision, collaborating closely with designers and artists to bring the game to life.

  • Collaborate with game designers, artists, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, gameplay mechanics, and technical specifications.
  • Develop complex gameplay systems, mechanics, and features using Unreal Engine, ensuring they align with the project's vision and objectives.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to solve complex technical challenges, optimize performance, and improve the overall quality of the game.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, fostering their growth and development in Unreal Engine and game development practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and workflows, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Senior Unreal Game Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Extensive experience with Unreal Engine and a deep understanding of its core systems, Blueprints, and C++ programming.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Key Skills:

  • At least one title on PC, console, or mobile platforms using Unreal Engine, with active involvement in the project for more than 6 months.
  • Experience with version control systems (Perforce).
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality games.
