Financial Accountant Job Description">

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. As a seasoned subject matter expert, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of routine financial reports, processing journal entries and month-end activities, as well as preparing balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Assist in financial forecasting processes to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  • Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies and collaborate across finance and non-finance functions to drive business efficiency.
  • Analyze journals, produce data analysis and reports, and assist with variance analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Assemble annual audit information for external auditors and provide timely support during the audit process.
  • Partner with the accounting team to recommend process improvements and implement automation solutions to increase efficiency.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts for business unit management and analyze past performance financial data to inform future planning.
  • Implement effective financial controls, including systems reconciliations, to ensure the integrity of reported figures.
  • Plan and execute month-end activities, including journal entry preparation and processing, to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
">Requirements and Qualifications:">
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance or related field.
  • Full-time or part-time MBA in Finance or related field.
  • Seasoned experience gained in similar role, preferably within a similar global organization.
  • Seasoned financial accounting experience, including working on financial systems and software.
