Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Specialist to manage and prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and other financial information. This is a great opportunity for someone who has expertise in accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly closes by ensuring timely completion of all financial transactions
  • Record and track income across various sources including interest, fees, and equity
  • Prepare management reports and investor-ready financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Support certified public accountants (CPAs) on tax preparation, filings, and fund administration
  • Review financials from multiple portfolio companies and identify any discrepancies or variances
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulations across various industries
  • Standardize reporting templates and assist CFOs/finance leads in maintaining consistent financial reporting

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably in private equity, private debt, or fund administration
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-entity consolidations
  • Background working with companies within the $10M–$100M revenue range
  • Ability to manage both fund-level and portfolio-level reporting
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
